Culinary students learn how to prepare and serve food – but, do they have practical knowledge about the origin of food? Or, what all does it take to grow vegetables, plants and herbs? How does the soil (humus) affect the quality of vegetables? The importance of composting?
Helsinki Culinary School Perho has been collaborating with Herttoniemi Co-Operative Farm since 2013. Students and the staff are able to participate in growing and gathering variety of vegetables.
